- President’s Report
- New foundational document to add to CV PTA Mission
- PTA Position Statement: Working in Partnership With Our Schools

- Outlines how the PTA works in collaboration with the school, but as an independent organization with our own governance, finances, communication, and decision-making to ensure a healthy and productive partnership.
- Only the PTA executive board may initiate and approve PTA-sponsored events. Administrators, teachers, and general members are certainly encouraged to propose ideas, but the PTA executive board must authorize PTA events.

- Housekeeping
- The VP of Committees role has been temporarily eliminated after the resignation of Lisa Lindner, who is now molding minds at CG full-time. 🙂 The Committees will now be primarily handled by Emily Onufrak, Membership Chair, moving forward.
- Ann Huntsman will take on the role of Treasurer, working in conjunction with the President and VP.

- Text @4kdeeed to 81010, OR from the Remind app, click the Menu icon (3 lines in the lefthand top corner). Select “+ Add class” >”Join existing class” > enter “4kdeeed” into the text box > hit “Join.”
- When your request is approved, you will be added to “Central Valley PTA.”
- Copies
- We are seeking 1-3 volunteers to assist us with making copies at either CG or TL as needed.
- Field Trips
- We’ve increased and modified the field trip budget to cover $15 per student in each grade, for a maximum of $2,800 per grade.
- The PTA fully funds the field trips for each grade; therefore, we have compiled a list of pre-approved locations and options.
- The school will be responsible for transportation costs.
- Website
- We are giving our website a little facelift! No major changes to the site overall, just some fine-tuning and tweaks to help it look and work better. We’ll also be adding an online store for Spirit Wear.

- Open House
- Todd Lane’s Open House is 9/25 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Center Grange’s Open House is 10/9 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
- We’ll have PTA tables at each Open House to answer questions, some goodies to give away, etc.
