November 2023 Meeting Summary
- We handed out an updated calendar that will be attached to this email for you! (Please open the PDF to see it. Somethings are still not finalized. We will send out additional copies as it is updated.)
- We voted on multiple items at the start of the meeting including: adding a Resource Officer Appreciation budget, increasing the Todd Lane AR budget, updating the standing rules, and voted in our nominating committee!
- We have an open committee for Todd Lane Penguin Patch as a co-chair to work alongside Ashley Boulding! If you are interested please contact Lisa Lindner at [email protected]. They can always use extra volunteers for this event as well, so if you can help, please contact Ashley Boulding at [email protected].
- Our two classrooms that won the membership drive contest will celebrate with a Glow Party at Center Grange and a Minute to Win it Party at Todd Lane! Dates for those will be forthcoming. Thank you to everyone who joined PTA!
- Warrior cards were due yesterday (Wed.) for fundraising!
- We will be decorating the schools on Wednesday, November 22 at 1:30 pm if you are interested please contact Lisa Lindner at [email protected]! The kids truly enjoy coming back from the Thanksgiving break to a school full of holiday fun!
- North Pole will take place on Saturday, December 2 from 10am-2pm at Center Grange! This is a free giveback event! We will have face painting, crafts, hot cocoa, and more! If you would like to volunteer, please reach out to Kay Taddeo at [email protected].
- Our Purse Bash event is in full swing! We have already sold almost 250 tickets, so if you are interested in attending contact Jenn Checketts at [email protected]! They are also still looking for donations and baskets to raffle! We also have the Elite Purse Raffle ticket that will be drawn via facebook live.If you would like to purchase one you can also contact Jenn!
- One question during our round table discussion was in regards to CV Beanie Hats that the previous board discussed purchasing for each student. Due to inflation we will not be purchasing those this year.
Thank you to all of our members who attended our November meeting! It was a huge turnout, and I can’t believe it is the last meeting of 2023! I hope everyone has a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season! We hope to see you on January 16th for our first meeting of 2024!
